Whew! I'm looking at my schedule for the week ahead of me. I leave on March 20th. Next week, I have three essays to write in Spanish, one research paper to write in English, and a rough draft of a group final exam. I also have to work 22 hours outside of school and attend a pre-departure orientation. Oh, and I have to make sure I have all of my clothes and medical essentials packed for my trip. Then, I have to study for two make-or-break-the-grade final exams. Now, tell me, when will I have time to see all of my friends and say goodbye (you know, just in case the unexpected happens and my remains are repatriated via wooden box)? Sheesh. Words of advice: Whenever you travel somewhere for the first time for any extended period of time, make sure you've done your research and you've planned well ahead of time! This trip has been in the works since October, yet I still feel like I'm flying by the seat of my pants.
We'll just see how productive I manage to be tonight and tomorrow. :)
Farewell for now.
-Britt
